weekly words week 25 - midsummer swim and friends
what have you been up to this week?
work week but it’s starting to slow down. this upcoming week i’ll be wrapping up the rest of the work before summer, sorting, organizing, cleaning, decluttering. i’m really looking forward to this week because i love spring cleaning even when it comes to work. i feel much lighter when i finish the last workday before vacation.
i celebrated midsummer this friday, i went to the summer country house and took my first swim. with clothes on because i didn’t pack any swimwear. i slept in a tent in the garden.
i went on a lot of nature walks, one with a friend. i also went pubbing with friends and played some adventure golf with a friend.

how is the creativity process going?
i draw sometimes but music is at pause right now. i try to slow down before vacation and i only make music every other wednesday. this wednesday is the last music day. back to 100 % this autumn. i will pick up music when i’ve rested a bit :)
what are you listening to?
i’m happy to say that i’m listening to my new spotify single Making It Up. it has been released earlier on youtube but this is mastered for spotify and it has a nice crispy sound. crrrispy!

what are you watching?
i’ve picked up a new anime called Backflip!!
The final summer of middle school, Shotaro Futaba discovers boys gymnastics and is completely enamored by it. Shotaro ends up going to Ao High and decides to visit the boys gymnastics club. He's greeted by very unique senpais and a star gymnast named Misato Ryoya. Dedicating your life to something you love during your fiery days of youth... Of course, there is frustration, and fights, but see how these boys work together as a team towards a similar goal in this drama about sports and youth.

one thing i love about animes is all these sport and hobby based animes. there’s pretty much an anime about every sport or activity you know. sport gymnastic, ballet, surfing, archery, drawing, pottery, music, figure skating, etc. i love how something as simple as camping can be enjoyable to watch. and i’ve been inspired to try new things as a result of watching these types of anime. it’s inspiring and makes life interesting!
