weekly words week 31 - decluttering day and trip to a castle.
what have you been up to this week?
i camped at the archipelago, i was exhausted before we left and i went to bed early in the tent after drinking some warm soup and watching the ocean. it started to rain around 9 and i fall asleep to the sound of the waves and rain.

went to my mom’s summer house and also helped my grandmother to unpack her stuff in a new apartment.

i’ve been decluttering like crazy, went through every room from the dark cellar to the messy pantry.
celebrated my birthday and visited a castle among other things. (‐^▽^‐)
how is the creativity process going?
i’ve been recording a few melodies, starting to begin with songwriting. i’m excited, i’m so looking forward to beginning with music making.
what are you listening to?
i love this song! the colored chords, the chord progress, the rhythm, the energy curve - everything about it is really good.
what are you watching?
i’m watching the anime ”classroom of the elite” and i recommend this! there are some things about the anime that is kind of annoying, like some less flattering angles when it comes to a specific gender (as in most animes), but other than that the story is really exciting and makes you wanna continue to watch it.
Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children. What's more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school...

what are you reading?
i’m reading Steal like an Artist! i enjoyed this read. perhaps i'll write about my thoughts about some of these topics.
Steal like an artist
Don't wait until you know who you are to start making things
Write the book you want to read
Use your hands
Side projects are important
Do good work and put it where people can see it
Geography is no longer our master
Be nice (the world is a small town.)
Be boring (it's the only way to get work done.)
Creativity is subtraction.

what have you been buying or decluttering?
i went through the apartment and got rid of old, broken and moldy things, expired food and medicine and unused stuff. i always do a yearly declutter day to go through my things and clean up. there are always things to declutter and there is always a need to organize things in the drawers and shelves. i take some time to clean in all the storage spaces i don’t usually clean.

i bought a new blender and a new kettle, the old ones were broken.
how are your 5 habits?
reflect: 5 stars
