weekly words #11 - cosplay festival, friends and west coast
hello, here is week 30!
what have you been up to this week?
the week started with a roadtrip to my dad who lives in the western side of sweden. we stayed there a couple of days and relaxed, talked and ate really good food. whenever i’m there i always get really inspired to create music. i went on a lot of nature walks and bike rides, one nature walk with a friend, been feeding ducks and inspiring people to feed birds with healthier alternatives than bread. :) went to a cosplay festival this friday, also been doing archery a couple of times and i already see improvements, been swimming a lot and visited a friend’s house. took care of another friend’s cat when she was away at a concert, bought some groceries for a friend who has a cold.
i love snufkin.....
how is the creativity process going?
better and better, still vacation but i’m getting really pumped up for creating music. i have so many ideas!
what are you listening to?
i love this song, and the music video inspires me for a song i’m gonna make this year.
the song is the outro of a really good anime called ”Those snow white notes”.
what are you watching?
Ranking of Kings!! this anime is really really good. i cry in every episode. it’s really sad and sweet. i really recommend this one! no wonder this was recieved well, it's brilliant:
How prosperous your nation is, how many powerful warriors it boasts, and how heroic and strong its king is. These are the criteria that factor into the system known as the Ranking of Kings. The main character, Bojji, was born the first prince of the kingdom ruled by King Bossu, who is ranked number seven. But Bojji was born unable to hear and is so powerless that he can’t even swing a sword. In consequence, his own retainers and the public, look down upon him as completely unfit to be king. It is then that Bojji finds his first friend, Kage, and Bojji’s life takes a dramatic turn…
what are you reading?
i’m reading The Miracle of Mindfulness - Thích Nhất Hạnh and also volume 9 of the manga Nana. i love and hate this manga. it’s really sweet but also sad and it takes a really bad turn after the 8 volume. i don’t like how it turns out.... i plan to read all the 21 volumes. (i love shin)
what have you been buying or decluttering?
i’ve been buying some stickers from the cosplay festival. one for the beer fridge at home, two in my studio and one for covering the laptop brand on my work pc, just to change things up a bit. :) two key ring charms and also a nice fan for the summer heat (which i painted black).
