weekly words week 29 - bike rides and pubbing
vacation mode, here’s week 29!
what have you been up to this week?
i’ve been at my mother’s summer house by the archipelago. been pubbing with friends, playing boardgames, shuffleboard - i lost many rounds, i got sad, then got over it. :) got my mini bike fixed and have been on long bike rides in the streets and parks in my town, had a friend over for dinner and we drank craft beer. have been in a nature reserve where we had tea and made a nice campfire.

how is the creativity process going?
i’m taking a small break and building up my craving for creating stuff and making music. i can feel my eagerness for making things is slowly coming back and growing by each day. i get these ideas that i write down and save for a future creative day. :)
what are you listening to?
i’ve been listening to ”Better” - Xin Liu och BoA, it’s a Chinese pop song. The music video is something else compared to other videos. A lot of mystical surroundings and traditional Chinese clothing styles. i'm a fan of xin liu.
what are you watching?
i’m watching ”the devil is a part-timer!!” (season 2)
haven’t seen season 1 so perhaps that’s why i think it’s pretty average? i don't know. not that complicated anime? haven’t had the chance to watch any deep background stories of the characters (if there are some in season 1) :)
”Foiled by a hero when he’s inches away from conquering the world, the devil finds himself in modern-day Tokyo. With no real-world skills to speak of, the devil is forced to make ends meet flipping burgers at a fast food joint! To stall any further plans of world domination, the hero tracks the devil’s trail and takes on the lowly tasks of a telemarketer.”

what are you reading?
i’m currently reading The Miracle of Mindfulness - Thích Nhất Hạnh
i read this one some years ago, it’s good for improving meditation practices and it gets you to reflect over a lot of things. a good read!
what have you been buying or decluttering?
i said goodbye to my old red city bike. it served me well these years, playing pokémon go and going to the archery outdoor area. i don’t know why i always got a flat tire even after changing wheels. anyway, thank you!

i bought a new app for tracking habits called QTally, so far i’ve gotten a lot of value from it!
how are your 5 habits?
reflect: 5 stars
meditate: 5 stars
exercise: 4 stars
read: 4 stars
create: 1 tiny star :)
what are you grateful for?
my friends and my new old mini bike, i can finally go on bike rides without much effort.

what are you letting go off?
expectations and things i don’t want to do :) i’m enjoying my open schedule so far with spontaneous activities.
what are your highlights?
bike rides and pubbing!
